Women's Plus Size Rain Jacket The Manchester in sizes 1X-6X

2X too small; exchanged for 3X which was tight through the middle. Item not true to size; returned 3X for refund.

I got to test my new jacket a few days ago in a storm and it kept me dry! I also like the forest green color.

So far I love the coat. It's a perfect fit, true to size, warm, and keeps me dry. Here in the PNW we get our share of rain and this jacket has served me well.

I am 6 feet tall, size 26, weight fairly evenly distributed with an “apple” shape. This jacket fit well as far in through the body. It has a generous hood which I also appreciate. It’s short in the arms for me, probably could use a couple inches more. The length is okay, but I would have preferred it to hit a couple inches lower on my frame. This is a common problem for me since I’m far above an average height, so I always know I’ll have to make some compromises.

I really like the Manchester rain jacket. I like the length of the jacket. The only thing I wished I had is an inner pocket, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. The only critique, and caution, I would give is the sleeves are short. I’m a short person with shorts arms, but with the cuffs buttoned the sleeves are almost short for even me. The sleeves pull up my arm if the cuffs are buttoned and I raise my arm, and my wrists are exposed. Could use a little more length in the sleeves.

For years I have been looking for a rain jacket with a lining. i didn't want the lining for warmth but to keep the material from my skin. On warm rainy days, the material gets so hot without a lining. I did find a trenchcoat with a lining but I wanted a jacket. I was at a friends house & she found this web site. I ordered this jacket & it is perfect! I have already worn it many times because of wind. It is made very well & I definitely reconnend it! Thank you Snow Country!

Nice quality and fit

I want to give this 5 stars but I can’t. The size is great but the sleeves are too SHORT! It drives me crazy that my arms are uncovered when I raise my arm.

I have big arms and generally have to size up one or two so my arms fit into the sleeves, but then everything else is too big. Before I ordered my jackets from Snow Country, I chatted online with a representative who offered to measure the circumference of the arms for me. I was skeptical, but I ordered the jackets anyway. I was blown away when they arrived and the arms were exactly what the rep said—they fit me! The jackets are made with high quality material and they fit well. True to size. I normally wear 2X but got a 3X so I can layer sweaters for the tail end of winter. It fits great. Tough thing about women is we all carry our fluffy bits differently. I carry my weight in my belly. The 3X fits but is a bit snug at the bottom. People comment about the sleeve length. They are a bit long, but I like my sleeves long. There are also snaps at the wrist so the sleeves don’t dangle. My favorite part about this jacket is that there is no mesh lining so the jacket slides on and off easily and is very breathable. This is exactly what I was looking for. My hubby got jealous so we are now getting him one of the men styles.

Man I love this rain jacket. I'm 5'7" around 300lbs. It's so difficult to find a womens jacket that fits my arms and hips. This jacket does both with room to spare! Living in the PNW having a good rain jacket is important and this jacket rocks! Very happy with this one!

This was going to be a Christmas present for my daughter but somehow the post office wasn’t able to deliver to my home and sent the coat back to snow country outerwear. Colleen responded promptly and with great kindness and redirected the coat to my daughter in another state. Holiday shipping can be challenging but this company was prompt and responsive. Thank you so much for the size inclusivity. I've tried rain coats from all the popular outdoor brands - north face, REI, Columbia to name a few. This is a perfect jacket for casual everyday wear. It's not going to be the best for hardcore outdoors-ing because it's heavy, but it's going to keep you dry and cute. The fit is superior to other brands that sell plus sizes and the price is completely fair for what you get.

Good looking coat that was perfect for a (summer) week in drizzly southeast Alaska. Snaps on wrists were helpful as well as the ability to cinch the waist. So happy to have a source for plus size outdoor outerwear!

Real plus size items! I ordered three different jacket options and am pleased with the quality of all three. I will be keeping the quilted vest and the Manchester Rain Trench. Each fits well, looks great, has an option to cinch in at the waist, and is perfect for layering for time in the outdoors.

I needed a rain jacket that was sturdier than the average wind breaker. It was definitely worth the price and I hope it will last for years.

I got this jacket to provide rain protection in the TX heat. It worked perfectly! I wasn't terribly hot because of all the great venting and breathable material. The fabric quality is very good and the craftsmanship is excellent. It fit true to size (I measured myself before I purchased). I'm really glad I picked this jacket.
