This jacket was perfect for my family vacation to the snow. It was warm but breathable and flexible enough that I could play with my toddler, drive and move around freely.
The color is cute, and zipper is great quality. I wear a 20 W but have hips for sure, so I order up a size and glad I did. I would buy again!! Worth every penny.
I wear a size 22-24 pant and top usually. I ordered a 4x and it was just big enough to put on over a semi thick fleece top which is all you really need.
The jacket itself is phenomenal I was not cold at all. The chin came up and the hood came down and blocked the wind. It was comfortable and had great arm movement. (I also have broad shoulders so this was very good.
Only advice is take your body measurements and go by their chart. It’s the only reason I ordered bigger and I’m so glad I did.
I bought this due to pregnancy/nursing weight gain, & I got a size up (ordered 3x) in case we have another little one on the way in the future. It fits like a dream! It’s lighter than I expected, but very warm so far.
I love that I can put my 14 month old in his baby wrap and wear the coat over it! The only thing I don’t love is that the ninja cuffs (where you put your thumb through the sleeve to keep it tucked in your gloves) is really tight and uncomfortable on the thumbs. But first world problems right? Lol
All in all it’s a great jacket and I would purchase again. Shipping was super fast too!
This jacket was PERFECT for my trip to Iceland. I live in Florida (no winter clothing) and planned a trip to Iceland during Winter. This jacket kept me warm the whole time. When I received it, I was skeptical because it dint seem very insulated. Boy was I wrong. All I had to wear under the jacket was a tshirt and the top half of my body was toasty the whole time. I highly recommend this jacket if you are looking for something that will keep you warm when walking miles outside in nature. The weather was never above freezing while I used and it usually came with heavier winds (up to 30 mph). This jacket is the real deal. I will use snow country whenever I need warm clothing.

I love this jacket! It fits just right, has so many features to keep me comfortable, and is incredibly well made! 1000/10 would buy again! It came SUPER FAST too!!
I put off buying a new winter coat for years because it is usually such an unpleasant process, but I am glad I took a chance on this one. It is very well-designed. The detachable hood has all the Velcro bits covered so nothing sticks out. For the first time in decades, I have a coat that covers my wrists. If you have short arms, you might have some trouble.
I do wish it was slightly longer, especially in the back. But I recognize that it was designed for skiing, and there are ski pants or bibs that tend to be worn as a set. I do not hurtle myself down a frozen mountain on bits of wood and fiberglass, and so my rear end gets cold. But that is my only complaint.
The coat arrived quickly, and was exactly as described.

As a plus size woman I struggled to find snow pants that fit. I was leary to order online, but I am SO glad I did! These from Snow Country are PERFECT!
But that is not a complaint. Returns were seamless and the right size was eventually selected. This is the first winter coat that I have had in many years. It fits like I want. The sleeves are the right length! And it’s pretty stylish. I no longer have to choose to wear a men’s coat! Thank you!

It's an understatement to say I LOVE my new ski jacket. I love the overall fit of the body and the sleeves and how lightweight the jacket is while still keeping me warm. I haven't loved a winter jacket in a very long time - if ever. But there are still a couple of things that could be improved. First, how tall are your models? I get I am only 5'2" but that hood is made for someone extraordinarily tall. Luckily, I could take it off the jacket because it is totally unusable for someone of my height. What I cannot fix is how high the front neck of the jacket rises. That is also clearly made for someone much taller. For future editions, can you make it so the collar can be folded, snapped, or velcroed down for us shorter gals? I bought another jacket at the same time which I have to return because the sleeves were insanely long. However, on the ski jacket, the sleeves are perfect! I
Winter coats are hard to find in plus sizes. This one fits comfortably and is truly warm. Wind-chill was -25 degrees below zero, and it kept me warm! Highly recommend.

Honestly I ever expected outdoor activewear for plus size women to be crafted with such skill and quality. I tested out my ski pants and jacket in Quebec City at the Christmas Market in 19° and blowing snow. I was warm and dry and comfortable all day. The fact that I looked really cute and fashionable didn't hurt at all.
The jacket I ordered arrived within 5 days and fits perfectly. I'm very pleased with the quality, fit and price and will be ordering again in the future
First, I wear 3-4x shirt and ordered 6x for the coat. Very good decision. It would have been too snug in the arms had I not gone larger size, especially with winter clothing.
This coat has so many pockets. A clip for keys. Zipper vents in the armpits in case you get too warm.
